Greenprints History - A Brief Primer

In 1998, Southface and the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority organized the first Greenprints Conference and Tradeshow to address the Southeast’s green building challenges and opportunities. Since then, Greenprints has provided a dynamic learning experience for building scientists, design professionals and community members to share and interact in a stimulating, interdisciplinary environment.

Over the years, Greenprints has attracted some of the sustainable building sector’s most innovative thinkers from leading agencies and organizations like the Environmental Protection Agency, United Nations, Department of Energy, Architecture and Earth Policy Institute.
